Der ehemalige U.S. Präsident George W. Bush und sein Nachfolger als Gouverneur von Texas, Rick Perry, können sich schon seit Jahren nicht ausstehen und das Bush-Team wird versuchen, Perrys Kandidatur scheitern zu lassen, berichtet The Atlantic Wire.
Der ehemalige demokratische Präsidentschaftskandidat Howard Dean sagte dazu:
"The Bush people don't fool around, as you know... You can say a lot of things about Bush's presidency and his failures as president, but one thing nobody should say bad about, his political team. They know what they're doing, and they are ruthless, and they are going to take Perry out."
Mitglieder des Bush-Teams, allen voran der clevere Wahl-Stratege Karl Rove, griffen Perry diese Woche bereits öffentlich an: Rove: Perry's Bernanke Comments Went Too Far.
